A sensational new stage play written and produced by Darnell Richardson "In The Midst of It All" is a new musical production about domestic violence, family secrets, peer pressure, faith and joy. When a grandmother and grandfather are left to raise their two grandchildren after their daughter has abandoned her children for five years to be with a man who is planning to break her family apart, it leaves her children wondering and thinking of ways to fill in the empty space of not having a mother around by attempting negative acts. This close knit family relies on Grandma Marty who is the peacemaker in the family and the one who brings everyone together and encourage everyone they can overcome obstacles. When Grandma Marty becomes critically ill, it puts the family in a state of uncertainty if she will make it through or not. There is a battle between positive and negative forces.
